In 2010 i rode a 1914 Indian twin From Kitty Hawk To San Monica over 3000 miles. I noticed my Gold Wing is a bit smoother and the brakes are a bit better.

There is a MC museum just down the road from my house. They have a board racer (Pope I think) and an actual section of track on display. These bikes were said to reach 80 MPH and DID NOT HAVE BRAKES! Those guys were tough.

THANKS... That is a great historical documentary of our motorcycling heritage.
Oh yes, the times have changed, the faces may have changed, the machines have certainly changed, but, if you will notice, somethings that remain constant are those wonderful smiles brought on by the shear joy of motorcycling. I can almost picture YOUR ear-to-ear smile now...
