Did any of you hear that Paul Sermons recieved "Life" for the death of 4 motorcyclists last year in Sumter County? My mother has a "winter home" in Bushnell and lives next door to his parents. She called me and said that he was just given that sentence. Any of you hear of this? I guess he was offered a plea bargain of 20 years but refused and wanted a jury trial. I know he was found guilty last month or so, but I guess he was just sentenced. Can anybody confirm or deny this info?

Nope, he was supposed to be sentenced on July 6, 2011 but he is not listed in the FL correctional database yet-it is updated weekly. There have been no news reports on the matter so I think he has not be sentenced yet, they could of postponed sentencing for a later date due to July 4th holiday and all.
