where?

Sounds good. can you describe the install & which kit you picked up? I am interested especially where did you mount the ballast. Also did you rewire the lighting so they both (hi & lo) come on with the high beams?

there is space under the vent openings inside for the ballast. the problem with bulbs is , you have to hog out the original bulb adaptor to only a ring for the wires to come out . 2nd ride tonight . great

KenH .
Do a search for HID on the tech board . There was a post on here a couple weeks ago about hid . They had the name of two different companies that sell the hid , about $200 for the lights .
If i hadn't just spent $200 on an set of EC driving lights , i might have bought those instead. May be my next purchase.

I hope you do get to try a set of them out . I would very much like to know what you think of them . Things are a little tight right now , or i would be investing in a set of them . If i see some more good reports on them , i might add them to my next "must have" list .

here is the link to Teds post about the HID lites
http://www.gl1800riders.com/forums/view ... highlight=

in about 3 weeks i will b able to say i have seen the lite :D

a tip for anyone that does not know how to post a link

its very easy u just need to copy and paste

to copy just hold down the left click button and slide the cursor over whatever u want to copy, it will become hilighted

then let go of the left click button and right click, a box will open with many choices, left click on copy

then go to where u want to paste the link, right click and the box with choices will open again, left click on paste

with a little practice it gets very easy

i got the tip from another board member years ago, just trying to pass along the favor
