Hill Start Assist (HSA) light blinking

With my bike it has happened twice...both times the clutch micro switch was replaced. I think riding in the rain alot causes the clutch switch to get dirty and causes the fault code.

The clutch switch is pretty cheap and takes like 10 minutes to change out...I would change it out myself instead of all the hassle of taking it to the dealer for such a minor issue.

Please remind me why it is again at the hill start assist doesn't stand longer?
It seems that five seconds after it sets itself it's already releasing
in a car it'll stay on indefinitely
please excuse me if it has been discussed 40 times before
as always, thank you, in advance
A few things don't work on this bike like we would like...like why does the elapsed time feature reset everytime you turn on the bike instead of a manual reset when you want it too...the feature is useless as it is...why does the phone take over the whole screen while making a phone call which kills the navation if being routed....at least the HSA works and is useful

I still have the problem. What's happening now is, I start the bike and no blinking. As soon as I pull in the clutch lever to shift, it starts blinking and stays on the entire ride. I pull over, shut the bike off completely. Restart it, no blinking. Pull in the clutch lever and it starts to blink. I did remover the 2 wires, applied some di-electric grease and reset the wires, which did nothing.

If that's all it takes to demonstrate the issue (pulling in the clutch lever), I may take it to the dealer to see what they say.

In the other threads, someone mentioned there's a service bulletin on this. I called 6 Honda dealers and no one has heard about this issue. I also spoke to the parts department at all 6 dealers to see if they've had to order any clutch switches. None did.
I would just go to the Honda dealer and buy the clutch switch..last one I bought cost something like 15 dollars and takes 10 minutes to install...that's the simplest and fastest solution to the problem....deal with the hassel of taking it to the dealer only if that doesn't fix the issue
