Maybe I live a sheltered life, but I've never heard of this happening before.

It crossed my mind a week ago, riding in a storm near Henderson, KY, with lots of lightening. But I was more concerned about being blown/washed off the road by the strong wind gusts and rain torrents.I thought it was going to happen to me two weeks ago in Williamsburg, Iowa.
Saw this on the news. Literally, a 1 in a billion chance of that happening. Crazy.Maybe I live a sheltered life, but I've never heard of this happening before.

Oh, we discussed it on this forum back then:It happened out here in western Wa some years back, I know who it was but can't say, he is pretty private about it. Struck and did not go down!! Lucky is an understatement.
If your reading this, I met the fella you sold your B to, what seat is that? Its comfortable.
I have a (bad) habit of "blogging" each day of my annual tours - 2019prefrontaltour.blogspot.com. The day with lightning wasn't as bad as the day we got caught in the blizzard and I learned how the Goldwing handles in snow. Here's the lightning post.It crossed my mind a week ago, riding in a storm near Henderson, KY, with lots of lightening. But I was more concerned about being blown/washed off the road by the strong wind gusts and rain torrents.
