have this 1800 hitch with just "1800" cut out on it, is a vertical, but not sure who made it, or what it is worth.

I paid 148.00 to the door for a new one so IMHO 65.00-75.00 including shipping if I was buying.

thanks. does it have to come off to change a tire, or is there some trick to it? there isn't any directions.

I put a car tire on with it in place so no unless you you need to bring the tire out thru the center section for some reason but most people lay the bike on its side to replace the tire. I've installed three vertical hitches and there pretty much the same.
