For those of you who have installed the Honda Luggage Rack I need your assistance. I am not finding any center hole marks on the inner liner. I also do not find a center hole mark on the trunk lid for the brake light. Am I missing somethin?

use a step drill bit (Unibit , Varibit) make a mark with a marker as best you can

then use the step drill to carefully drill and enlarge the hole

I talked to Honda about this....my dealer said that some of the bikes had a center punch mark and some did not...he did not know if it was going to continue with a center mark or not...no real answer from Honda....Like someone here said...mark the middle as best that you can and use a stepper bit....I just installed my Honda rack and there was no center marks on trunk or inner lid....had no problem with alignment

Well here is the finished product; luggage rack and Show Chrome LED Marker Lights Red & Amber.

I seem to recall that the center hole for the break light wire was NOT marked on my outer trunk lid. However, the instructions were pretty clear where to drill the hole. And since it is for a flexible wire, precision on the precise hole location was not critical
