Just recieved my ipod adaptor from EC.
I need to hook it up in the morning.

1) Where do I plug in the red & black wired plug in the left fairing pocket?
Anyone have a photo?

2) Do I need to hook up the yellow wire or is that optional?

Picture on EC's site

no instructions were enclosed in box

Thanks

The green connector(s) are to be plugged into the power plug under your left fairing pocket. If you have the 12v power plug into the left fairing pocket, unplug it and insert the male and female respective plugs into the EC connectors. The red wire goes to your battery or accessory connector next to the battery. Black wire plugs into the aux audio plug also under the left fairing pocket.

It converts the audio out to a 3.5mm connector so that it can be plugged into the bike's AUX input.
I don't understand this. My Ipod Mini plugs directly into the Honda cable that I got with the bike. It doesn't need any adapters.

Honda and Apple have developed the Honda Music Link adapter (for iPod®) http://musiclink.honda.com/.

This is posted on the HRCA/ownerlink page. but only appears to work on Honda cars. Does anyone know if there is one for the wing?

ok got it working ! You need to hook up the yellow wire to a 12v source and plug the adaptor into the red power plug as well. Sounds good :)
