Today during my ride, one of the horns stopped working at the most inappropriate time - when I was squeezed to the sholder by a BMW SUV
changing across 3 lanes.....
All is well that ends well.... BUT
I would like to check / fix the contact but have no idea where the horns are located (C'mon, not those horns, you wise guys....)
I can't easily see them, no shop manual yet either!
Could you point me in the right direction, what's needed to be dismantled?
It works intermittently now.

Just pull your lower cowling and the horns are right there.

It's an '06 and still on warranty. Take it back if it is not right.

That is the lower center cowl. They are under there.

Report - the left one was out - the wires and contacts turned out OK, voltage coming thru. DId not work still...
I tapped on it a bit a then the diafragm got unstuck. Is this common, or should I replace the horn?

Not common at aLL. HAVE IT REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY
