I have a system now, but want to improve it as one of the connectors are going bad anyway.

here is what I have now


The hopnel bag is holding all the wiring....

Below is all the wiring in the bag, this is made from a mini DV case

I went through about three Garmin GPS connectors before I finally broke down and made my own. I cut the Garmin cable and inserted a 4 pin mini molex connector in line so I can leave the Garmin connector pluged in and don't have to remove it.

I did have to buy a special crimping tool and it took me a while to learn how to properly crimp the tiny little connectors.

The one I show in my hand is a two pin, but you can get them from 2 to 8 pin and they all use the same pins. They aren't good for high current or power, but they work great for low power items like audio and GPS etc. I like them so much, I have started using them all over the bike.

I pm'd you about this and was not sure what you were talking about, thanks for the pictures.
I used small servo plugs for my LED lights and those are really tiny, I have the crimping tool for those, and yes, I too needed to sacrifice some of the connectors. :lol:
