Check my list and see that the 72 Kawasaki H2 Triple was the third on my list. I bought it new in 72 in Japan. The Jap dealer didn't speak a word of English and all I knew was "which way to the Tokyo Steambath." I pointed at the bike and he gestured for me to take it for a spin. I took off down the road, easy at first. I probably got up to thirty in first gear then shifted to second. At about 45 I whacked the throttle and was greeted with tremendous acceleration. All of a sudden I felt this weird sensation, I seemed to be getting farther from the road. Holy Mackrel Batman, I was doing a wheelie and I never had even heard of such a thing. I chopped the throttle just in time before the bike came over on top of me. Wow, what a blast! I went back and bought it on the spot.

29. Just remembered another. 1978 Kawasaki Z1R-TC turbo. Garbage with a capital *G*
That's all I can think of. I enjoyed motorcycles up until the late 80s. Besides my current lineup, my favorites were the old Yamaha enduros up till 1976 and the GPZ1100. Yamaha XT500 and FJ1200 were utter trash, Kawasaki Concours and BMW likewise. After 3 yrs in a row buying a new bike that was garbage, I gave up on the entire industry. I'm hoping for good things with the new wing.

Never kept track of my bikes.
am I the only one who owned a Bridgestone 175?
Have forgotten how many of each.
I remember the Bridgestone 175...twin cylinder two stroke with the pipes high on the side. I was 12 years old when I rode that bike and for a kid that bike sure was fast. :p

+1 (and I had a Bridgestone that I think was a 175 - I know it was less than the 350, had a rotary gear box and I wisely traded it and some cash for a CB350).

Started off with a 76 Hodaka Super Combat, then a 74 Yamaha TX500A, then an 81 Kawasaki KZ750, an 82 Yamaha Seca 750, an 84 Kawasaki Ninja 900, a 95 Honda CR250R and my 02 Honda Goldwing. Still have the last two on the list.
