I am going to install some handlebar risers today.

'Meter Panel' has to be removed to do this.

Instructions are pretty straight forward, but...

Are the speaker grills attached to 'meter panel'

If so, how do you get to the tabs around the speaker area?

Thanks
Mike

The cover with the speaker grills is easy to remove, just pull. It is a little unnerving the first time. There are wires to the tweeters that need to be unplugged so don't go too crazy after you get it loose.

Where can I get a PDF version of the service manual for a 2012 like that?

The speaker grills don't have to be removed.
Pull up on the meter panel near the ignition switch. Then pull the top out and away from the dash. The hardest part is removing the connector for the buttons, just in front of the ignition switch. There is a tab on the connector that has to be pressed to release the connector. Then pull back the boots on the tweeters and disconnect the wire to the tweeters. Again, a small tab has to be released first.
The hardest part is the connector near the ignition switch. Not a lot of room to work.
