Maybe some here can help me out. My son in law has a Honda VT1100 Sabre. We need to change the front tire but for some reason I cannot find the torque specs for the axle bolt and the pinch bolts.. Does anyone have it to help us out??

Also is there any "tricks of the trade" so to speak to make this an easier job since it doesn't have a center stand??

Thanks guys.. I know with your help it will be a breeze..:eek:4::eek:4::eek:4:

Just tighten it snug - the nut only aligns the axle and once the pinch bolts are tight the nut can actually come off. 20ftlb would be fine.
These things can be done simply by feel in general.

I had a sabre for a couple of months and seem to remember finding several sabre forums. As for not having a center stand, get a jack and lift the front tire a little off the ground.

Sabre was a fine bike. I still have the stock seat and a few other sabre things in my storage room.
