I think that fella's name was Wild Bill Gelbke that built it. He was quite a story in his rather short and chaotic life. Good luck in getting a picture. I think that bike is owned by Cycle trader folks if I'm not mistaken?

Interesting bike. I have seen some pics on the web, but thought they were Photoshopped.

That is one unique bike. Really rough, but a lot of thought was invested -- and probably not a lot of money. The front end is fascinating to try to understand. No wonder it had such a large turning radius.


Thanks for pointing it out. I spent about 20 minutes looking at all the pics and going back and forth trying to get the whole bike straight in my head.
