compartment and the fuel fill lid.
I have seen these but didn't look that close at them. I guess it is a key with a round flat knob on top of the key. I assume they are removeable if you want to, but they keep you from having to remove you ign key to open the lids
thanks, I hope I explained it correctly

I use OEM radio knobs.......
Same here, looks stock and works great. Because the keys are much shorter for this application, they will not work in the ignition or the trunk.

Key Knobs

The Key Knobs for the Gas Cap & Locked Right Storage Pocket are SHORTER than the Ignition and Trunk...

HOWEVER...

If you have any thoughts that the location you are parking your Wing in is not 100% safe... Take those Key Knobs out of the Cap/Cover when you park your wing...

I can walk by your Wing... Take the Key Knob out of the Gas Cap.. Go to a good key cutter and get a full length key made that I can start and drive your Wing away with...

FWIW....

I have used Show Chrome knobs for that chrome look!
With the chrome knobs you just have to glue the cut key
into the knob.
Just another idea.

I went to Radio Shack and bought some radio knobs, this works better for me in the lockable ( right side). Easy to operate with gloves on when bike is moving...just FYI.

I do like the chrome replacement knob for the gas tank..

Ditto on the Radio Shack knobs.

Also, it was much easier for me to fabricate with R/S than with OEM (I made them using OEM's on my '04).

There, that's my $.02. :D

Snoopy, you and Bob are too much.

Bob...missed you at Biktoberfest this year. I know how you feel about this "flatland" here in Florida. Hope to see you again next year at Hoot.

Finshed Mine Up Today

I bought my Wing painted knobs from Road Trip Essentials http://www.roadtripessentials.com/472863.html. Here is how I did it. I machined the keys that I bought from Wal*Mart. They fit like a glove in the Honda Wing radio knobs. I LIGHTLY filed all sharp corners and edges that fit into the radio knobs. I say LIGHTLY. I won't take much. No heat on the key, just a slight tap with a hammer. Were to buy the key(s).
How to cut the key(s)
Epoxy in the knob
The final product

thanks for all the help getting me started :) [/url]

I just fabricated my color matched knobs. Waiting for the Gorilla Glue to dry right now!
