If you only had 2 days

My wife and I are in the early stages ofplanning our bike trip for next year and I would love some input from the folksthat live there.
So here’s what we have… the first week of August we are heading out from westMichigan and only have 19 days to get back. We want to tour the northeasternstates, (that being NY. VT. ME. MA. NH. RI. CT. PA. and OH.)
I’m going to post this on the individual state boards but thought the answers wouldbe cool from other states not on my trip route.
So here’s the question: If you only had one or two days max to travel/tour yourstate, where would you go? Could be a great road or landmark really doesn’tmatter.
Thank you!
Loren

Check out the New England Riders website at NewEnglandRiders.org
You will find lots of great suggestions there. I live thirty miles north of Boston on the NH border and most often ride north into NH. One of my favorite short rides is the NH sea coast along rte 1A.

thanks for the suggestion about the website... we were hoping to drive down from Maine on route 1!

Rte 1 in Maine can get very busy in the summer, but there lots to see. If you get south of Portland, look for Rte 9, 1A and 103. These roads will get you closer to the Atlantic coast.
