Yes, it will be more challenging, especially in the dark.
It looks like the majority of my riding in the dark will be along the eastern side of the state. I will get to see the west and southwest parts of the state in broad daylight! I'm excited about that. :joke: I grew up in western KS and therefore am painfully familiar with the sameness that exists out there for mile after mile.Yes, it will be more challenging, especially in the dark.
That's the weekend of the Roger's Ride In. I would imagine a lot of us will be in Arkansas that weekend.Well, at this point, I am shooting for the four corners ride April 11, 2015. I am planning on being able to finish in about 22 hours of clock time, so I think I'm planning to start at 6 AM on the 11th and be finished by about 4 AM on the 12th. The ride through the western part of KS will be long and boring, so I'm planning on taking audio books with me. I'm going to work on the route more before I choose a definite starting place. If you are interested, block out the dates and let me know.
OK. It looks like the May 2 would work better. That's the weekend of the Roger's Ride In. I would imagine a lot of us will be in Arkansas that weekend.
