Just got the Show Chrome 17-362 grips (http://www.bigbikeparts.com/product_det ... temID=1760).

Any thoughts as to the removal of the OEM grips (without destroying them so they can be re-installed, if need be)?

Also, any suggestions as to how I can install the new grips (they do not furnish any adhesive) with either a "common" household adhesive or a 'wrap' of some type so they will not rotate or twist once installed? BUT still be removable if I decide to re-install the OEM grips!?!?

Thanks, in advance for any help or suggestions!!

You might try using compressed air to separate the grip from the bar and pull while doing so, also works well to install also. Be careful pulling on the grips, if they are glued securely, it is possible to bust the throttle handle. Grips, especially stock ones are cheap compaired to the time and cost of replacing the throttle handle. Talking from experience, I would just cut the stock grips off, clean installation areas and install new ones.
