Well it’s that time of year again and my insurance company decided a 30% increase was warranted. I have had zero claims or tickets so I don’t get it. I’m now searching again for a year rate for my 2018 DCT. Just curious what everyone is paying per year

Me telling you my rate means nothing. The only thing in common is the motorcycle.

You might seriously start by shopping around with other companies & see if those rates are comparable.

A lot of other discussion on this topic elsewhere on this forum.

For liability only on a 2010 ST1300 and a 2014 CTX700 Progressive was over twice what Geico charged me for more insurance and FULL coverage on a 2012 GL1800 and liability on the CTX700... 55YO, licensed for over 30 yrs.
I bought the Progressive policy when I bought the CTX. That was a bad idea. It was just to convenient. Before I added the GL, I thought to call around. When the Geico agent asked who I was insured with, he said I hope you are sitting down cause I'm going to save you a bundle.

YMMV but that's my story and I'm sticking with it.

well I found out today the the DCT has gotten a bad rap and the rates went up substantially with Allstate. Last year was$275 for the year. This year$825 and I have had zero claims. They say it’s company wide because of the DCT.

Liberty Mutual is treating me good right now.
