Interesting how he talks about the police department gear for the most part being out of date.

I'm pulling for the Chief to be successful in his attempts to change a culture. The lower price and maintenance costs of the Africa Twin would be easier on the budgets too.



And those AT's have got to be easier to ride than those big Harleys since they have a 62" wheelbase.

The premise really is the change in culture...especially for those east of the Mississippi (you guys know exactly what I'm talking about...) with jodhpurs and all of that. Nothing has changed in 50+ years - because!

I've got to send this along to a family member that is a motor officer, and get his take on it.
