speakers

Front or Rear speakers?
Rear speakers: you must remove the 12 screws that hold your inner trunk lid in place, Then beneath each speaker (trunk lid down) you will find four additional screws, remove them. You wil now be able to separate in half the speaker housing. Then simple unscrew the four screws holding each speaker to the housing.
The front is a bit more tricky: remove the grey centre console via lifting upwards gently so as the retaining pins pull from the rubber grommets.
Now reach under the housing (from right side of bike ( if you are sitting on it) and with a long thin straight srewdriver unplug at the connection the wires that lead to the console. After cursing at how hard this is you will be happy to know that they go back on in about 2 seconds. Now lift off the console. Next just snap out the front speaker covers, revealing the speakers. Now you can easily reach the two exposed screws which hold the speakers to their mounts. The trick is to gently ligt the dash moulding to expose the remaining two screws. Now with a long thin bladed screw driver undo thes screws. The speakers will now be able to be wiggled out.
To install the "hard to get screws, put the screws onto the blade of the screwdriver holding them in place with a bit of chewing gum, or silicone so as they do not fall into the Great Honda Abyss, to be lost forever. Again gently lift the dash sufficiently so as the screws just fit into their holes, then with the thin blades screwdriver you will be able to tighten thm without much problem. Same on the other side.
You will truely appreciate this upgrade.
The sound is perfectly clear at level 20 while travelling @ 140 + k's
