What do you use to jack up the front wheel of your bikes/trikes?

I just want o spin the wheel sho I can check the pads and rotors?

If you use a regular jack how do you get it under the bike, and what do you put the jack under, ie frame, crossbar etc.

Oh yes i have running boards

If you have a floorjack, and it won't fit under the motor; drive the front tire up on a 2x6 or something...the jack should fit. A piece of wood between the jack pad and the motor is a good idea.

I use a sears motorcycle jack under the engine and a sears floor jack under the rear.

I use ramps. Mine are Rhino ramps from Sears. Drive on, back off. Plenty of room under the bike to service rear end, drive shaft, change oil, etc.. However, changing a tire or working on the brake calipers would require a jack. I suspect that my car jack would suffice for that, but it is rarely needed.

Ride safe
