From the Rapid City (SD) Journal:

"Third Circuit Court Judge Rodney Steele on Thursday sentenced the former governor and U.S. representative to serve 100 days in Minnehaha County Jail in Sioux Falls.

...he will be eligible for community service release for as much as 10 hours per day, six days per week. Janklow will be allowed to choose the times and types of community service.

...After three years, Janklow's file will be sealed and his record cleared of the felony conviction...

...Janklow's fines and court costs total $6,010."

Another news item indicated Strugis does not anticipate a boycott...

Ridiculous

That is absurd!!! He murdered a biker with his cage, and this is all he gets? 3 months in jail and $6,000? Boy that sure sends a message to obey traffic signs and watch out for bikers doesn't it. As always, I will continue to assume that EVERYONE is going to pull out in front of me or run the intersection!

uuumm, excuse meeee

A feloney conviction CAN NOT BE "CLEARED" even for a politician

when was the last time you heard of an ex-con having his/her record cleared

Jackalope can no longer VOTE, he may no longer own a FIREARM of any kind
