Having issues installing.
Won’t even start.
Reformatted correctly. Used 16g flash drive.

I had to reformat another flash drive using NTFS format and I did a full format not a quick format. I also hooked up a battery tender while installing the update. I also used a 32 GB drive.

A more detailed description of what the issues are would be helpful. Does the bike recognize the flash drive? Does it even start the update? Does it freeze part way through? etc., etc.

What does the Navigational Firmware have to do with the starting the bike.

I believe he is talking about starting the upgrade install, not starting the bike.
