We arrived in Washington on the Friday afternoon on the 23rd. Had a good trip and no rain. Spent Saturday in Washington looking at the sites and talking with other bikers that had come for the Ride to The Wall. Got to the Pentagon parking lot at 6:30am didn't get to leave until 1pm. Heared that they estimated over 500,000 bikers where in the parking lots of the Pentagon. It was worth the wait. The streets through Washington where full of people waving flags and cheering as we rode through. It's a shame that the national news media did care more about the event. The liberal media would rather care stories about bad things going on in the country instead of and event honoring our military men and women who have served and the ones that gave all. Proud to be an American. If you haven't been you need to go at least once it will make you proud as you witness the numbers of people taking part in the ride.

Thanks for the update on your trip. Being there, seeing all the sights, watching all those bikes making the run down Constitution Ave... and seeing the patriotism demonstrated by both the many thousands of onlookers and the bikers participating in the parade from the Pentagon lot truly makes one very proud to be an American. I agree..this is an event that everyone should witness at least one time. Safe travels.
