On the keyless remote are two extra buttons, one with a pcture of the trunk opening and the red call button. Neither key does anything, is this right? Its been like this since day one, but I have not seen a post on this subject.

You must hold them in for a second or two. Just quickly pushing them will do nothing.

I had the same problem and a connector had came loose. It is located between the trunk liner and and the trunk ceiling. Might be worth a try!

I think Shooter might have your answer if the other features are working. Push and hold, there is a small delay for the horn to blow and the trunk to open!

The delay is there so they don't get set off accidently. I have noticed that sometimes lock or unlock gets bumped while the keys are in my pocket, so it's a pretty good idea that the bags and trunk will relock if they aren't opened!
