I have 2nd gen Wing 2017 Has anyone tried the cheaper priced heel toe shifter floorboards on a Ebay for about 160.00 vs the Kuryakn heel toe floor boards that are priced btwn 400-500 bucks. also im looking to get them in black. All pics are welcome & thanks for any info in advance

I have read they are crap and to stay away from them. They cut corners on the "cheap" knock-offs.

A friend of mine got the knock-off arm rests. He said they seemed ok, other than the arms themselves were connected to the wrong side hinge. He had to disassemble them and swap the arms.

Personally, I won't support those who steal designs from others. It seems to be happening more and more.

If you're open to not having brand new, and saving money, I'd keep an eye open for resale. Heel/toe shifters seem to be one of those things that people love or hate, and in the latter case, they get resold. I'm not taking a side on that debate, but I did buy a resale set, then later moved them on to their third owner.

Not to hijack this post, but I had the same experience with the knock off Kury armrests...I had to swap the sides. However, in my defense, I couldn't find a supplier for the Kuryaken armrests that had them in stock...especially the black ones.

Hi. I just bought a 2015 with the driver transformer floorboards in black, that I'm going to remove. They are in very good condition. I'm just not a heel/toe guy. It is this model, but in black:

Includes shifter (and bushing for the shifter), floorboard, brake pedal, floorboard

Send me a note if you're interested. I'm thinking $220.

Hopefully you have not purchased this yet. These stupid tow heel shifters can bend the shift forks. Then you will have a very high repair bill.

That is a myth based on a theory that has been endlessly perpetrated for a couple decades now. There have been many polls on this board over the years that have shown clearly that it didn't matter whether or not you had a heel/toe shifter - some people had problems regardless. I had one on my 2006 for over 100,000 miles and currently on my 2017.

A little light reading:
