This year the "Las Vegas Bike Fest" is from Sep. 29 - Oct. 2. The wife and I are going the 30th - 2nd and want to know if anyone here is also going? We are staying downtown, and would like to take in some runs with others in and around the area.

Going to Street Vibrations in Reno Sept 23 24 and 25 have the time off with no plans. Maybe we will head down to Vegas and ride the area before heading home. Lots of flat land. Some thing to think about.

Event Overview

Come join thousands of your motorcyclist friends at events around the country to make a difference in children's lives!

When you join hundreds of other motorcyclists for this scenic ride through the beautiful countryside, you'll have a great time while raising funds for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation's medical research and family support programs! Riders on all makes and models are welcome.

Registration opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 9:45 a.m. The escorted ride starts at 10 a.m. sharp, rain or shine!

The ride will loop back to the start point. After a light lunch, participants will enjoy a Celebration of Life program that features interviews with young brain tumor survivors—the Ride for Kids "stars" of the day. Award presentations to top fundraisers will follow.

Our chapter plans to be at the Ride for Kids. We usually grab breakfast at the Iron Skillet around 7-7:30 am, then go as a group to registration. Hope to see you there.
