I know many of you ride for the kids, many of you donate (or even have donated to our site...thanks!) but we're coming down to the end of the year, last ride and if you have meant to make it to a ride or donate but haven't...feel free to pitch in a few bucks.

I've been looking forward to this ride for months...it's been a tough year. Losing my job, finding another and moving to Florida but always having a ride on the radar...can't wait to get hooked up again after doing this for several years in Chicago. My network is smaller and it's been tougher going this year raising $ (lots of folks are burned out from giving I think...) but off we go!

If you're inclined and haven't had a chance to give to this worthy cause, click on this link and thanks on behalf o the kids!

This will be the first time the Ride is held at Sarasota. The ride is Sunday Nov 5th. We will have a dinner Saturday night before the ride. Location: Sarasota County Technical Institute at Beneva Rd and Proctor.
Start Time: Registration opens at 7:30 and closes at 9:15. Coffee /Donuts and a lunch after the ride.
Grand Prize: Honda Motorcycle
The police escorted ride will be about 50 miles through scenic countryside including Mayaka State Park.
The minimum amount to ride is $35 pre motorcycle. Additonal funds qualify you for a variety premiums. For more information:
Call (800) 253-6530 or visit www.rideforkids.org

Angel and I will be working registration before the ride and giving out premiums after the Celebration of Life program that follows the ride.

We are shooting for $100,000 raised at this Ride. In previous years the Ride was at Dunellen, Fl and the average was in the $70K range.

Sarasota/Bradenton has plenty of Hotels/Motels and the weather is perfect at this time of the year. Come early and hit our beaches.

....I hope you all either have donated to this cause, have been on a ride or will donate for this worthy cause.

Chrome? GPS? Tires, oil and stuff? Drop a few of those bucks the kid's way....

Bill and Angel are apparently helping check people in, hope to meet them too. We're riding down first thing but need to boogie after...next time around will go down Saturday and stay the weekend etc. We've got a bunch of stuff to get square as the next couple weeks after are a zoo with work and personal travel etc.

Looking at the weather we might get damp but it's going to be in the 70's which for a Chicago guy like me is HEAVEN.

See you there!
