Installed this red LED voltmeter today. It reads the voltage from the back of the cig/aux power outlet in the left compartment. It is bright but the good part is, I have to lean forward to actually take a look at it so it isn't distracting. (Tried for about 30" to get these rotated correctly, then gave up!).

From Amazon. It was just one of many they showed 'available' at the time. I'm sure it came from China in the first place...$4.00.
