I thought every winger knew that loctite eats plastic on a goldwing if it comes in contact with the plastic. After reading a post on this board, i thought i would make this post so all newbies would know NOT to use loctite where it can come into contact with a plastic part of your wing. It will destruct the plastic it touches.

thats good info to know, any idea what happens if I sprinkle some on my wife's corn flakes?

JD, good reminder tip...
This was brought up during the early days of the front fender cracking issue. Loctite can outgas and weaken the plastic in the applied area weakening it thus allowing the plastic when overstressed to begin cracking. Not all Loctite solutions cause these problems, but it seems the blue does.

and Javern, she'll either get real sick, or die, depending on the amount you feed to her
