Interesting. It appears to be about $100 less than the Honda brand CB tranceiver. I would be interested in hearing from folks who have installed and used both.

I am in Houston and have installed about 15 systems, every one so far is very happy. The advantages of the GL2Way over the OEM is that it will allow you to integrate GPS audio, radar detector, FRS/GMRS radios into the wing audio system and get a better CB system as well. $499 plus $90 for antenna.

OEM CB = $937(can be bought for $713.99 from our sponser)
GL2way = $549.99(can be bought now for $498.99)
$713.99 - $498.99 = $215.00 savings, that's more than $100:shrug:
Also the OEM has 3 noise filters to be installed. Not required for the GL2way.
Add the mp3player that will work through the OEM CD controls and it's still about $70 cheaper than the OEM CB!

I thought I saw the Honda branded CB priced at $600 and the GL2 at $500 a day or so ago? Don't the filters come as a part of the pkg.? MP3 is not something that has value to me. I listen to SAT radio when touring.
