Over the past few months I have read several articles and posts on loud exhaust. Once I lived in a state that had a law that if a LEO could hear your car audio system from 75 feet (or greater) away, you could be cited.
That state's courts deemed that law unconstitutional.
I am not trying to start a debate here, but my question is this:
If it is unconstitutional to outlaw loud noise from a vehicle audio system, why is it not unconstitutional to have a law banning loud exhaust? Believe me, I don't care for either, but am curious on the topic.
Mr. Matlock??? Thanks all.
