I've been using a RS electrical contact cleaner and lube. Not cheap ... about $13 for small spray can. You can only get it at one of their ground stores. No cleaning needed so no worry about loosing springs and contact plates because it is a penetrating foam. Crack open the corner of the white cover that covers a switch, shove the thin straw in and pull the trigger. Snap the lid closed, reassemble and go riding. I don't know about its longevity yet, but it is so easy it is hard not to like it and is designed to lube and clean contacts.
