No, they are smart and have expert an industry leading manufacture make their oil to their exact engineering requirement and work closely to ensure quality through testing a performance programs. It’s assumed Honda is not in the oil business. It doesn’t change the fact that Honda knows what oil requirements they have and get a quality manufacturer to make it for them.
