Just received a Honda luggage rack for the white 2018. I'm thinking the rack would look better powder coated flat black versus the chrome.

It will have the LED brake light.

What say ye?

I have the chrome on mine, I like it, I wish it was made of metal...

I considered doing the same, but in the end I left it chrome... It works with the chrome mufflers, etc., but I think the powder coat would look pretty slick as well.

Here's a link to a thread... the bike is red, but at least it gives you an idea... I personally would have gone with the flat/satin, but stayed with a smoother finish (vs the wrinkle/crinkle).

That looks sweet. My issue is...it ain't much of a 'luggage' rack when max capacity is 5 lbs... I left mine as chrome, but boy that black looks nice.

Ive had about 15 lbs on mine. no issues so far.
