Oh, I almost forgot.

You will need the coupon code.
It is: "QW23H4Uy8Wn80WlaPe8w92N4j7H9kL"
Or you can also use "Just Because I Love You"

Write it on the back of a $10 bill and then put it in your wife/SO's purse where she will find it.

Then go to my web site and click on the ORDER NOW button.

Ok Fred:

I placed my order, did what you ask and placed the following code on a $10.00 bill "QW23H4Uy8Wn80WlaPe8w92N4j7H9kL " and put it in the SO's purse, still have not figgured out how that works exactly, except that maybe I really did not get any type of discount  Oh yeh, I had to use the SO's email address because there were not enough spaces for mine, so since she is going to get the receipt I guess the $10.00 bill thing was a good idea
Well, you have to understand the real beauty of this sale.

You get a new set of Maintenance discs, while at the same time, earning bonus points with the SO. I learned long ago that a happy SO makes for a happy owner.
Is it helpful to work on my own GL1800?

Actually I'd hoped to use this to work on my GL1800 but this concerns me: "THIS VIDEO IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT ONLY. IT IS NOT AUTHORIZED TECHNICAL DATA. DO NOT TRY ANY OF THESE PROCEDURES AT HOME."

Don't be concerned, Fred is protecting himself from liability as he should.

The DVDs are very informative and will pay for themselves. In a nutshell, YES, it is the best thing you can buy to be able to work on your own bike.

There are probably hundreds of other very satisfied customer remarks in this forum.

He'll show you what basic tools you should have and how to do pretty much everything an average mechanically inclined individual could tackle in your home garage.

I don't think you would be disappointed at all.

Thanks Fred

any chance you'll be updating anything for the 07's???????
Now that winter is started to set in I orded mine today.
Never had the top shelf off on my own so her goes
thanks Fred :?
I found a $20 in my wallet that had "If you still have this on Friday, give it back, Gwyn" written on the back.
KY,

I talked to Fred a week or so ago, and he said he was almost finished with the 06-07 update. If I remember right, these will be addon disks as there were just a few changes. The options are to either order the set now, and then get the update add-on disks, or wait and get the set with the add-on disks.
Fred's Videos are priceless. Even an old fart like me picked up a lot of "Home Style" solutions to what I had thought were complicated situations.

Even if all you are going to do is change your oil and remove a wheel. You get your money back in the savings.

Get Em

I already have the video from your last sale, but didn't know about the coupon code. I guess it is not too late to write the code on a $10.00 bill for my wife. Because of interest and being late, maybe I better use a twenty instead!!!!

Thanks Fred for tip, us guys can always use extra credit with the SO for those times when we need a withdraw to cover our stupid mistakes.
Thanks Fred, ordered mine. I hope this sale sells hundreds of sets for you.
Great videos -- worth the price even when not on sale -- BUMP!

I assume this means that those of us who already own his DVDs can order only the disks updated with '06+ info...? Also, I haven't yet come across anything related to fixing the chronic left saddlebag release problem. I think it would be nice to have a fix that WORKS and not have to depend upon the dealer's trial and error efforts (warranty or no warranty).
Fred,

To fix the left saddlebag on your 06 should be fairly easy. All you have to do is move the lime green cable holder back one notch where it is clamped on the release assy inside the trunk. Remove the screws holding the rear black panel in the trunk to expose the release mechanism. You can see the lime green (yellow?) cable stop holder at the right side of this photo. Move it so it is seated in the middle notch. You may have to pull somewhat hard to get it to pop out of the U shaped cut out in the metal bracket, but it will come out.

For some reason, in 05 and 06 they started seating this cable on the forward most notch in the lime green cable stop. It should be in the middle notch. This takes up the slack in the cable.

I don't yet know when the updates will be done, but yes you will be able to purchase just the update separately.

This is exactly what I did with my '06 and it took care of the saddlebag problem...both sides now feel the same when you pull the latches to open.

Fred, be sure to put me down for a copy of the updates.

FYI, this will be the last sale this year before Christmas. I won't be doing another till probably next spring.
Fred, When are we to expect the '06 - '07 update?

I thought that we get a lifetime of updates, with original purchase...LOL

Don't have a date yet. We are working on it. It will be two additional discs and they will be sold sepearate if you already have the set. Dunno the price yet, but I don't expect it to be much for just the two. Once they come out, the price of the original set will go up some to cover the two extra discs, so this will be the last chance to get them at this price.
