May 21st RTE At JJ’s

Since we missed JJ’s on the way down to the Dells Ride because of the ”frog choking” rain, I propose a RTE to JJ’s for BBQ ribs this coming Sunday. I should be there around 1130 to 1145. Weather supposed to be in the mid 70’s.

(y)(y) Oct. 13th, 14th, and 15th. Arrive on Oct 12 to recuperate from the ride. That way you won’t be tired for the kick off lunch at The Distillery, Friday at noon.

I lived in Connecticut nearly 25 years. If you ride out here you might just stay:D

I'm a travel'n nut, I snow ski all over the country, and "YES" many, many times I thought to myself, WOW this place is beautiful, I'd live to live here... (BUT) Trying to convince my wife to move where it snows... would be like pulling teeth without novicane ...Ain't going to happen..... lol

Not looking good for me on this RTE. Power steering pump went out in the truck. Going to bring it over to a guy from work. He wants to do it Sunday.

Wonder why it quit working, so far has never happened to me but I’ve definitely heard of it happening to others. One of my tractors has a very slow leak but when it starts getting low it’s very noticeable so I just add some fluid and it’s back to normal

Well, mine is definitely not working. Plenty of fluid in the reservoir. I have to get on the gas to be able to steer.

Doesn’t sound good. Hope it doesn’t cost you an “arm and a leg” to get it fixed.
Will be Heading for JJ BBQ shortly, with this beautiful weather should be a nice turnout.

See you there. I'll be heading out in an hour. I'll be on a loaner bike, as bike is in for service.

Oh, it just might...

Well got the truck back this morning. I have power steering now, though it has a few knots in it while turning the wheel. The PS pump has been replaced before, the one he took out wasn't OEM. I'm thinking the rack and pinion has been messed up for quite some time. I'd imagine having a bad rack and pinion tends to be hard on PS pumps.

I'll drive it a few more miles, see if it gets any better. I doubt it will. Now, it's where it was, just before it completly sh!t the bed. :(

Hope you guys have a good ride! Beautiful day! I'm going to bring the Uni-Go and a spare set of tires and wheels to the storage shed.

Thinking of throwing the battery in the Victory and bringing it home. Gotta bleed the rear brake, I'd imagine. Every spring it acts up. Replaced Dot 4 and vacuum bled the whole system a few times now. Also done just the rear a few times. Man, I hate bleeding ABS linked brakes. If you introduce air to the system, it can be a nightmare on getting them bled properly. Like a spaghetti factory.

It'd be nice getting on the Vic again. My knees been really bothering me this spring. More than usual. I didn't know if I was going to make it to TX this spring. Thankfully they calmed down some in Rogers, AR.

This year riding the Wings stock footpeg position, has them screaming in no time. It'll be interesting to see if the Victory has the same effect.

Awesome day for a RTE to JJ's for BBQ ribs. As usual, the ribs did not disappoint. Nice to see Cycledude and Jeff who made the trip. Cycledude's wing surpassed 600,000 miles on the ODO. Sounds and runs just like a new one.

Tons of bikes in Prescott and on Hwy 35. Large group, estimated at 100 bike or more passed by JJ's. I'm guessing they were headed to Bucknuckles

Don’t think I’ve ever seen any pictures of your new truck, does it have stock size tires ?
