Chris Carr ( odd? a guy with the name "carr" has the scooter record  ) hit 350.885 mph at the Bonneville Salt flats back in Sept.

Carr was driving the Dennis Manning BUB (Big Ugly Ba$tard) 7 Streamliner

It breaks the previous record of 322.149 mph set in 1990.

The streamliner actually hit 354.832 mph on the down run, but the average the speed is considered the new record.

The streamliner is powered by a 3000cc V-4, 16 valve turbo-charged, liquid cooled engine

I can't even imagine how fast 350 mph is on two wheels, I get nervous at 125

I read that but I don't consider it a motorcycle land speed record. The two wheeled streamliner he was driving had a heavily modified Ford engine in it.

If they can call a Boss Hog with a Viper engine in it a MC, why not this  I saw the BUB at the IMC Houston show... pretty slick
