Memorial Day weekend my buddy Steve and I went on a 1824 mile round trip ride through the twistiest roads we could find in Arkansas.
We picked up Highwat 7 in Arkadelphia and followed it all the way to Jasper where we ate dinner and picked up camping supplies.
We roughed it out in the middle of nowhere the first night near Mt Hersey. The next day we rode around the Buffalo River area and wound up eating lunch in Flippin. We then headed West and went all the way down the Pig Trail.
We ate dinner and grabbed a few more supplies in Mena and camped the second night at Cedar Lake campgrounds in Oklahoma. We were gratefull for the showers and real toilets at this campground.
The next morning we had breakfast at Queen Wilhamena (spelling) lodge up on the Talamina scenic trail. We then made a bline home and were back in Dallas by 1:30 PM.
It was a great ride that Steve and I will never forget.
Here are a few pictures and videos.
