Hi.

www.pashnit.com is a website dedicated to motorcyling and particularly California roads. Some of you know this already! Anyway it's a very popular site with over a million visitors a month, so I consider it an honor to have an article published on the site next to Mark's (aka Helmetdance) about the vacation Lynda and I took this summer.

If you would like to take a short while and vist this link to see the story told from my perspective along with some photos please feel free to do so!
Here's the link:

We also now have our website up, but it is still "under construction" so not all of the pictures are there yet, and theres a few issues I'm working through as I build it. We can be found at www.jimnlyn.com

Cheers!

Thanks for sharing!!
What a great trip!! Wonderful pics you have posted. You were so lucky with that rear tire incident  Glad you both are home safely and you now have a riding partner for life!!

The only mistake you made was missing Minnesota and your northerly trek eastward. You'll have to visit here sometime and see the bluffs along the river in the southeast and visit the north shore along Lake Superior, or better yet, head around the top of the Great Lakes into Canada...it's beautiful!!

Thanks for Sharing!

Jim,
Thanks for sharing your adventure with us. I had a similar experience with my wife this summer as well. I live in Wilsonville, OR and we went back as far as MI during the same period of time you were riding.

Thanks for all of your hard work on the two websites.

Thanks guys --

Yeah it was a great ride and we really did enjoy it. I'm one of those people that try and document all of my longer rides so sharing is no problem!!
The pants are firstgear mesh with zip in waterproof liners.

Cheers!

Thanks Clark --

It has been quite a challange going through some 3000 photos and sorting and "fixing" and uploading them - but they are finally done. We still have some clean up to do, but the hard grunt work is done.

Keep the shiny side up everyone -- ride safe!

Cheers
