This weekend I finished installation of a set of Mic-Mutes in conjunction with my EdSet testing. Photos of the Mic-Mutes installation are here:

I am real impressed with the Mic-Mutes. Expect a full written evaluation in a week or so.

Mic Mutes

They work. Have had them on since they came out and a major improvement in noise control. Really quiets down and and all wind and road noise from rear. SO has a switch on lower right side, very close to her hand hold. PTT works great. One of the best additions to the bike. Now if Honda would only clear up the rest of the crappy audio equipment, things will be great.

I am still in the process of trying to type up the full Mic-Mutes evaluation, but let me just say this.

I am very impressed with the operation, installation, and performance of them. I have been able to use them in conjunction with my Kennedy PTT hack and tonight I even found a way to make them work with Autocom system, thus eliminating the problem of the VOX activating in a crosswind.

Here are the Autocom modification photos needed to make it plug into the Mic-Mutes.

This is a real nice addition to the bike. If you use the intercom much, you won't want to be without them.
