If they had them for the 1800 - I'd try them. Michelin, IMO, makes some
of the best tires for the Auto industry. Someone HAS got to come out with
a set of tires for this big girl someday that will hold up!

No. For two reasons:

1. They are not for the Wing.
2. Michelin is a French company.

They make great tires but I choose not to buy from a French company, if I have a choice.

I don't buy anything from Levi Strauss either.

They will not miss my business, but it is a matter of principle for me.

If they made a tire for my Wing, I'd take off >1000 mile Avons and put on the PR3 in a heartbeat. I have the PR2 on my Kawasaki now and have never felt more confident on any other tire. When they run out, I'll put on the PR3.

French or not...they are the only tire I use on the Land Yacht. Althouh I would try the Blizzaks for snow country if I needed to.

Michelin is a good company with top notch R&D, which they put a lot of money into.

The French can be quite innovative. They just lack scuples a lot of the time on who they sell that technology to. But we know that going in, and the US has not always been the poster boy for scruples either. That's one of the reasons we have a bad rep in a number of places.
