The most miles I put on one bike was on my 1995 GL1500
I sold it at 161,000+ miles - I am sure the new owner has over 200K on it by now
Right now I am working on my GL1800 -- only put on about 50K miles so far -- I got some work to do ;)

I have read of some reporting in excess of 350,000 at least once or twice on this forum, quite some time ago. It's not very often.

I bought this Goldwing new in August 2006. Here is a picture of its' odometer as I was leaving for an BBG1500. I lost the alternator about 200 miles later, and decided that it was time to retire it. The new owner has refurbished it and it is looking great again. I hope to see it at my RTE in April.

In 1974, bought a new BMW R90/6.
Retired it thirty years later with 172,000 miles.
Still sitting in my shed.

In 11 years, 1981-1992, I put over 140,000 miles on a 1978 BMW R100/7. I have always said I tried to wear it out but, instead, it wore me out. LOL

Cycle dude is the champion on the board with over 500k miles (not sure about his latest mileage). My ‘01 is chasing him with a mere 368k. I bought it in 2008 with 16k on it... the rest are my miles. It’s currently been relegated to my secondary bike status as I stole another really low mile 2003 last September. It has had over 35k put on it since September, 2018. The ‘01 is now my southern “winter” bike. It lives at a friend’s house in Palestine Texas so we can ride in the winter months when the’03 is hibernating in Nebraska...

I had nearly 250,000 miles on my 1988 GL15 when I sold it just over a year ago. Most comfortable bike I ever rode, but my 2018 does everything else better.

Currently 544,000 miles on the 2002 Goldwing that I bought brandnew and put all the miles on except for a few miles when I traded rides with someone else. It has killed three deer and needed 4 new alternators but other than that it’s been pretty much trouble free.

That means you need to get down to Texas and pick up old yeller and bring her back to Arkansas. We need to put some more twisty miles on that bike!! (y) ;)(y)

I put 146,000 miles on my 2008 Wing before a deer took it out. I survived but the bike didn't!!
