I've somehow managed to put a tiny chipped spot on one of my mirrors.. It's not anything major, but it's annoying. Would a little silver paint and some clearcoat fix it, or is there something more useful for this? Chip is at the edge, maybe 1/8" wide and less than 1/4" long, doesn't go all the way through.

I could be wrong but I think the OP is talking about the mirror housing since he is thinking that paint and clearcoat might fix it.
