mobil one synthetic at costco is a nice deal

page 9 of the current coupon book, has a $10 off coupon for a case, 6 @ 1 qt

then theres a mail in rebate if you buy 5 qts, of $10

this brings mobil one down to aprox $2 a quart

good until the end of the month

coupon books can be picked up at customer service

Costco.

I though they only carried the Energy Conserving Oil at Costco. Is this Moble One we can use in the wing?

if your store doesnt stock your favorite flavor

take the coupon over to walmart, they will match it

or buy car oil, or whatever

this info is free for anyone who would use it, anyone who dont like any part of it, it is not meant for you

My coupon says the limit is three cases. Incidentally, I went to WalMart yesterday and could not find any one quart Mobil 1 containers that did not have the "energy conserving" label.

All we have at our Costco is 5w-30 and/or 10w-30 Mobil 1 which I feel at too light weight for the wing. The limit is 3 6qt. cases. ChuckR

Loren,

I checked into the rebate, and it does not apply to oil purchased at Costco. See the link below from Mobil’s website that lists the stores that the oil has to be purchased from to qualify for the rebate.

http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/MotorOil/Promotions/May_2009_Mailin_Rebate_Offer_Terms.aspx

Looking through the participating retailers, I do not see Costco listed.

I'll see about it next time we go. I'm about ready to change back to synthetic in my race car motor. I usually have aout 10 races on it before going to synthetic.

My guess is that COSTCO is not listed as a retailer because technically speaking, it is a private club, not a retail establishment.
