Anyone been riding the Mohawk Trail lately? I was raised in North Adams and the drive from North Adams to Greenfield is great. I can't wait until I can get the wing back home and ride some of that beautiful country, also Vermont, New Hampshire, New York State, and Maine. You guys & gals enjoy the ride and be safe.

I rode it yesterday with my wife visited some of the covered bridges in the area. Always good riding.
I was wondering when someone would chime in on The Mohawk Trail. Glad you two enjoyed it. Beautiful country.
Wow - I rode that years ago - 1983 to be exact as we were on our way to the very first Aspencade in Lake George (later they changed the name of it to Americade)

Beautiful ride it was and probably still is. I believe it was written up in the old Road Rider magazine edited by Roger Hull! That was why we went! :yes1:

Yes it is still a beautiful ride and I'm glad you enjoyed it. I live in Arizona now but I'm going back next year and looking forward to riding it. 1983 WOW !!! Almost 30 years ago. HOW TIME DOES FLY.

I envy you living in Mesa. I lived there (Appachie Wells) next to Appachie Junction in the 60's.

Way too grown up with trailers now.

Still beautiful country, though when heading north.
Yes we like living here. Could not live in the cold anymore. July through Sept. are the worst months but you are right that the North country is great. There are more pro's than con's living here, but we can ride 1 1/2 hours and be in 60-70 degrees in the middle of summer. We did camp at MT. Manadnock State Park in NH when I was a kid. Beautiful country.
Took the Harley out there three years ago, went from home (north of Boston) down to Fitchburg, up though Keene, over to Bennington, past Hogback Mountain, into New York then Adams. Stopped for lunch at the Eagle's Nest, enjoyed the view from the outside deck. Lots of fun watching the bikes negotiate the hairpin turn then go blasting up the mountain. Great ride any time of year, must be spectacular during foliage season.
