We are heading to Austin TX to watch the MotoGP boys push it around the track.
Saturday afternoon we will get to ride the track with our own bikes.
I did this a few years ago, it was a blast. Last time I did this I was on my CBR954RR.

Great trip.
I'm a noobie to long trips. Going from a sportbike to the Wing.
Longest trip I made on my CBR is 360 miles one way, a bit of riding for the weekend, then back.
This trip was 800 miles one way, weekend riding, then back.
Started out 33 degrees, clear and nice upto 65 degrees, windy. Then the storm.
We made it from KC to Dallas, one of the guys wanted to stop at Gas Monkey Bar and Grill for dinner.
Saturday morning leaving Dallas is where we had rain, HEAVY rain, hail (those hurt) and some hella cross wind.
Took us 6 hours to get from Dallas to Austin.
Race day was Awesome.
The ride back was very nice, just very windy.

No good story ever starts out "I was setting there eating a salad"
