Side walls or Contact patch

Ok. You look at the thickness of the sidewalls.

I'll look at the width of the contact patch.

I'm not a Darksider - yet.

What type of car tire is that? The sidewall of my car tires are thicker than the one in the photos. Besides most of the guys use ROF tires that have much thicker sidewalls. Your friend should have provided a better side by side comparision.

You guys that ride on car tires are daredevils pure and simple. I have a nice set but they ain't quite that big.

Can I take that photo for a ride and arrive at an informed opinion based upon experience? Or should I just parrot what I read?

1000+ Darksiders, ten million+ miles of experience? Naw, denial is more fun.

I wonder why Honda engineers and other motorcycle manufacturer engineers are not as smart as you CT enthusiasts?

Why couldn't they identify all the wondrous advantages of using car tires designed for cars on motorcycles?

When Goldwings come with OEM car tires or car tires are offered as an option on Goldwings I'll be among the first to order and install one.

Yep, hard to believe isn't it? And yet not one sidewall issue, de-lamination or manufacturers defect one. Only problem I've heard about is not recognizing when the car tire has actually gone FLAT!!! I'll take that risk.

Thanks for the info but I'll stick to my Run-Flat. Nothing like the proof being in the puddin rather than a nice display.

Where did I say anything about "Race"!!!

Look up the word segregation and see if it only pertains to "race"???
