Was walking thru Harbor Freight today and came across this balancer.

I have/use the Marc Parnes balancer, but I was wondering if anyone has come across or used this model, and if so, what do you think of it ???

Seems to be well made for the average winger and how often it would be used..........

ITEM 98488-2VGA $59.99

Got Mine

I did get one and they do work great. You can do the front and rear wheels with this balancer. The bearings are very smooth and the wedges fit the rear wheel like it was made for it. I just reused the weights that were on the wheel. Got mine for the sale price last week. $39.99

Good reading on the tire balancer. Now for a question. Where do you guys buy your wheel weights that you use? What style of weight do you guys use?

TIA....

But; if you have a Marc Parnes balancer, don't you think you already have a superior unit?

I go to my local automobile tire dealer and buy a few pieces from him. They usually come in a strip form that you can break off 1/2 ounce pieces. Peel off the double sided tape protector and stick it on your wheel where it is needed.
